Winter

Over at Incourage a challenge was made to use the creativity that God has woven into us all, and stretch our "wings" a bit.  So, I thought I'd give this a try, we'll see how I do, as I've never attempted Haiku before now.....

  1. Oh, Sarah! THANK YOU for joining in! I am SO proud of you for trying this the first time (can you say "bless my heart"??).

I can FEEL your words and see what you see. That, my friend, is the mark of good work! A VERY nice try out of the gate! You will HAVE to do this when we (incourage) does it again! :)

  2. Your words remind one: in solitude, in silence, the Lord speaks volumes. Jesus said that even the very stones could cry out of His sovereign ways. Surely your words remind us that all of nature worships the King who created one and all.

And based on the words beneath your header--we have a lot of the same interests!

  11. I *love* your poem and I am not usually a fan of haiku. Beautiful images, this one will stick with me.

  12. So descriptive! Love your adjectives. :)

(I just realized how weird that sounded. Don't mind me, I'll be geeking out in the corner by myself. LOL)
