Over at Incourage a challenge was made to use the creativity that God has woven into us all, and stretch our "wings" a bit. So, I thought I'd give this a try, we'll see how I do, as I've never attempted Haiku before now.....
Oh, Sarah! THANK YOU for joining in! I am SO proud of you for trying this the first time (can you say "bless my heart"??).
I can FEEL your words and see what you see. That, my friend, is the mark of good work! A VERY nice try out of the gate! You will HAVE to do this when we (incourage) does it again! :)
Your words remind one: in solitude, in silence, the Lord speaks volumes. Jesus said that even the very stones could cry out of His sovereign ways. Surely your words remind us that all of nature worships the King who created one and all. Joyfully, Lane lanechanges.blogspot.com
Clean, new, time to reflect. I really love your "Winter". I can just see you meeting Our Creator in the crunchy, crisp snow. Just wonderful! Blessings and Grace...
I have a wonderful hubby, and I hang out with our six kiddo's, ranging in ages from 3 months to 11 years, doing my best to teach, nurture, love, help them try to figure out who God truly made them to be, as well as trying to be frugal and save money along the way......which is an ongoing battle for me. In my "free" time, I love to craft, take pictures, knit, paint, garden, cook, read, throw pottery, and just bask in the beauty that God's created.....

ReplyDeleteAnd how wonderful that He sees us as white as that snow!

It is amazing what wonderful pictures we can create with so few words. Lovely!
